Our tradition began in 1932 with N. Charles Boggini, an Italian immigrant who was educated at New York University. N. Charles created several soft drink flavors and sold them at an affordable price to independent bottlers and soft drink manufacturers in the area. In those early days, the primary products sold were Cola and Grape, and they were produced in the basement of the family homestead in Manchester, Connecticut. N. Charles loaded them in the back of his car and delivered them himself!

The second generation began when N. Charles' son, Charles Boggini, joined his father in the family business. Charles attended the University of Connecticut and joined the business in the early 1960's. He helped further the growth of the family business during a period of expansion in the fountain beverage industry. Charles also refined the original Cola formula developed by his father. Sadly, Charles passed away in 1988 at the age of 49.

During this time of transition to the third generation, David Boggini was trained to run the business. In 1991, he was joined by his younger brother, Glen, and together they continue to run Chas. Boggini Co.

To this day-as we near our 75th year in business-our founder's mission and guiding principle still applies:
Supply the customer with
quality products
at an affordable price.
